DON'T BE A FOOL!!

Spring Semester 2003-

This April, Iota Sigma sisters were very active for Don't Be a Fool!  On Tuesday, they participated in a Step Show with Zeta Phi Beta.  On Wednesday, they handed out pink ribbons and shower cards at a Norfolk Admirals hockey game.  Several members of the team were even sporting ribbons, granted they had to be shown how to put them on correctly!  On Thursday, Virginia Beach Mayor, Meyera Obendorf, spoke about her successful fight against Breast Cancer.  She remains an active supporter of Breast Cancer Awareness and Research.

The ZTA sisters also handed out Pink Ribbons and Shower cards in Webb Center and the community during the first week of April.

Fall Semester 2003-

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month:   Be on the lookout for the Iota Sigma sisters to be raising awareness about Breast Cancer Awareness.

This year our Adopt-A-Grade program actually adopted a classroom at Larchmont Elementary.  Projects include a pen pal program, and monthly gift bags for the students.  In the fall, mentors will begin to help in the adopted classroom.

Zeta Tau Alpha has adopted 43rd street and cleans it twice a semester.
